Aside from genes, several factors can play a role in the development of tooth decay : diet and proper maintenance. Most people neglect their dental hygiene or apply unnecessary chemical substances like fluoride-rich toothpastes in order to stop or maybe treat tooth decay, or the causes of an abscessed tooth. Not much is needed to clean the teeth than an effective toothbrush and a small un-iodized sea-salt.
