The Simmons Mattress Company has become a well known name in bedding products from the time when Zalmon G. Simmons first opened his doors in eighteen seventy. It’s been nearly one hundred and forty years since Simmons quit making cheese boxes in his Wisconsin factory and switched over to making mattresses instead. The Simmons Corporation is now one of the oldest mattress companies in the United States and may even be one of the oldest businesses around. Continue reading
