When people think of OB GYN jobs, it often brings to mind childbirth and prenatal care to the mother. However, there is way more to the profession than simply delivering babies. Doctors and nurses in this profession are responsible for many duties other than prenatal and post-natal care. They are responsible for any medical care needed by women that pertains to their female reproductive systems. These duties can include, but are not limited to, treatment for cancer in the reproductive organs, as well as annual routine check-ups of the reproductive organs.
